Attractions like the Pet Porpoise Pool and the Big Banana add to its appeal, while the jetty foreshores are perfect for picnicking and BBQ's.

The north coast of the state is also an incredibly beautiful region. Towns like Yamba and Ballina are perfect for weekend escapes, with fishing and swimming popular past times.

Encompassing some of the very best of the state, Byron Bay is without a doubt one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Located on the far north coast of New South Wales, Byron Bay is a popular hot spot for surfers, backpackers and whale watchers.
