The best way to control this is to use cruise control whenever possible as this will help your vehicle travel at a more steady speed.

4. Reduce the use of Air Conditioning

Air conditioning is a well-known fuel guzzler so the best thing you can do is turn it off. If you are just cruising around town, wind your window down to keep cool and save the air conditioner for straight runs. If you are on the freeway with your windows down, you will get slight wind resistance, which will slow the car down and suck up more petrol, so air conditioning is the best option here.

5. Keep Tyres Properly Inflated
