2. Biggs Museum of American Art
The Biggs Museum of American Art was established in 1993 and is home to one of the finest collections of American fine and decorative arts. The permanent collection here includes the only comprehensive representational American paintings collection in the Delmarva Peninsula.
A visit to the museum will allow you to experience a wide variety of art in sculptures and images, as well as traditional furniture and home pieces. The museum is also the resting place of the finest collection of regional silver in the country, so it's safe to say that there is something here for everyone.

Not only is the house an icon of history, it is also a beautiful house to look at. This house has held a prominent presence in Dover since 1798 and is one of the finest Middle Period Georgian House's in Delaware. Definitely not one to miss!
