The city of New York is home to many neighbourhoods, or 'boroughs' as they are more commonly referred to as. Brooklyn is just one of these, but it is certainly not overshadowed by the dominance of NYC. Brooklyn maintains its own distinct culture, independent art scene and unique architectural heritage, which sets it apart from the city.
Located on the western end of Long Island and sharing its only land boundary with the borough of Queens to the northeast, the coast is defined by the east river and enjoys stunning waterfront views.
